What happened guys, go ahead, fresh comments now guys Sons Of The Forest was delayed, the second Forest game was announced a few years ago and the release date was finally confirmed by the developers back in 2021, we were just eagerly waiting for it to come in May, but now news is coming out that they can no longer commit to this release date because of complications that night The game tweeted, Hey everyone over the past few weeks we realized that our May 2022 release date for Child of Power was too ambitious to be able to be in May. But now with the news that they can no longer commit to that release date because of some complications that have arisen, Night Games tweeted, hey, over the last few weeks we realized that our May 2022 release date for Child of Power was too ambitious to deliver on our vision for the next step in our survival game, and we decided that we decided to move the release date to October 2022, so their next heavy release date is in October of this year, which is actually pretty good, I mean, don’t get me wrong, I’m excited about the game releasing next month, I marked it on my calendar months ago and was counting down the days because I was Because I’m super excited about this game, because The Forest is one of my favorite games, probably the best I’ve ever played with my friends survival game, very fun, but that’s fine, I mean if they need more time, I’m not going to rush them or complain, we don’t want another disappointing half-baked game.
I’m not going to rush them or complain if they need more time, we don’t want another half-baked disappointment, let them take their time, it’s all worth it in the end because if you look at other games, they rush to meet deadlines and the game is a total disappointment and everyone ends up backing out and hating the company, it totally ruins their reputation to the point where they Once community may never buy their games again, similar situations have happened with Bethesda, Microsoft, CD, etc.
It’s really risky to pay 65 bucks for a game these days compared to the past, people are hesitant because they always give us rushed games and they’re terrible, but we’re also responsible because they do rush games because fans keep asking for them and then they say okay, we’ll put our stuff out and if there’s any problems we’ll fix it as we go, but it just screws everything up mess up, like I said before if they need more time then take as much time as you can because I want this game to be perfect even if the fans get impatient, I really hope they don’t listen to the toxic fans complaining like oh my god you guys are delaying again because I know they will end up delivering a great game and you can’t lie, we will all play it for many years just like we did with the first game.
I don’t know why, but I think the reason for this delay is the Playstation version of the game, because just like any other game, the PC version was almost ready, but there were some problems with the console version, and then they wanted to release it at the same time so that both platforms could enjoy it.
Because the recent trailers are clearly showing off that the game is ready and they are focusing almost exclusively on steam and playstation, like they released the first game on playstation 2 and not just pc, so I’m pretty sure they’ll do that with Forest Sense, so I think that must be the case, and if not, it could be the game itself of other issues, or my second guess, I think it’s more likely that the game was delayed because they wanted to adjust sales for Halloween in October because it’s a horror game, so that means more traffic to the game because it’s a horror game, so that means more traffic to the game, especially for streamers and other content creators who are really promoting their games and they just want to be spooky during the season to stream, so if that’s the reason, I don’t blame them, it’s a better business move, let’s all be honest. I know this game will live up to expectations like the first one, if not better, because a lot of things have changed, the graphics are better, they’re focusing more on the story, VR and CON support may be coming because the developers say they want to expand the availability of the game, but for now steam is their main focus, so this is a big step for a post-apocalyptic knight game and they want to take their time and make sure everything is perfect, which also makes sense. I hope this really is the last delay they promised, because it would definitely piss off players if there was one last delay.
