This is amazing, you can have a movie night guys, besides showing this game and playing with your audience or just playing for yourself, you can literally sit there and have a movie night like you’re watching a horror movie, it’s amazingly good youtube this is your girina game here, if you’re new to my message my name a few days ago we saw the first 30 minutes of the game and I did a reaction article so if you didn’t see it go check it out, today’s article is about the preview and actually an exclusive hand has been released today’s article is about the preview so that should be good because the first 30 minutes of the game is amazing so I’m excited to see and hear more about this game so just get comfortable and I Just watch it with me Quartet is super massive, a spiritual successor to Before Dawn, a brand new 10 This game has nothing to do with its not-so-distant cousin, the Dark Pictures Anthology series, which largely evokes classic teen horror, sticking to the path that made Before Dawn so successful, and like Before Dawn, that path branches off in different directions that twists and turns along the way until you get to I didn’t expect so many endings and I’m excited about so many endings because I’m terrible at making decisions and I’m going to do this with my audience and obviously my own game, so that should be really cool because you get to see so many different endings. I spent three hours watching its first three acts, and I kept remembering what made it so enjoyable and fresh when it was first released, and Quarry may not have stepped in as many new places, but it definitely had me hooked with its gorgeous cinematic presentation and overall love of horror movies. I’ve said from the beginning that I love the look of it, I love the voice cast, I love the animation, I love the gore up its sleeve, I love the summer camp setting of Friday the 13th, I love the teen-monster nature of Cabin in the Woods, and I love the self-referential nature of Scream. It all takes place in the echoes of passing banjo strings that can be heard in the trees my hand over time including bursts of gore, genuine moments between characters and a few jump scares to boom it never once threatens to take itself too seriously, though firmly remember to put the laughter into the slaughter just by glancing at the casting and you can see what the mega-scale is going to do here with such evil as Scream David Arquette and cult horror actors such as Ted Raimi of Death.
To give you a not so warm welcome to Hackett’s Quarry Summer Camp, you won’t make it hell, it’s the quarry, he scared me, he scared me, I told you right off the bat, I don’t believe this afternoon, disturbing and ultimately terrifying prologue to The Quarry, Act I. It starts on the last day of camp when the kids go home and it’s just the commissioners and our Mom You switch between controlling nine different camp counselors as they do for the next nine days.
I think it’s the type of game that I’ve only ever controlled one or two, so nine is really good I have to point out that I’ve never played Before Dawn, so I’m excited because I’ve always heard it’s great, but I’ve never had a chance to play it If this is developed by the same creator, I’m excited because I might have a feeling that I’m finally going to be able to participate with you guys, you know for a few hours to get ready for the night The last big party before going home What could go wrong Hello, inevitably there are many I won’t spoil but rest assured there is more than one threat to be wary of in The Quarry, I saw some bizarre supernatural phenomena, some snarling beasts and a creature I don’t know how to describe that certainly appeared at the end of my playtime. The most dangerous game of all, it is hunting season after all, and it’s hard not to notice the amazing cinematography while playing Quarry, which is certainly a step up from Before Dawn graphically and artistically, it’s like a damn Bob Ross, it takes the era of It uses the old Renaissance technique of light and dark contrast, utilizing high contrast light and dark areas that explode in heavily shadowed areas unexpected surprises You’ll see this technique in a variety of horror films, from the classic “Dr.
Caligari’s Room” to the modern-day “Young Adult. In the prologue, when Raymie as a holy creepy cop emerges from the darkness, it starts to look scary, like he’s coming from nowhere, and oh my god, there’s definitely a lot of jump scares there, so I’m not a horror fan, and it’s an impressive technique that should be fun in the light.
