Quartet – let’s see the interview with Will Beers

Let’s take a look at the various interviews that Will Byers gave last month when he did his first big promotion for “Quebec” There are a couple of interviews that we’ll take a look at and see if he said anything super interesting or at least something intriguing The first interview is from Radar Plus and it’s written by Joe Donnelly and it’s not a straight interview, it’s a preview and they got a few words from Will Byers.Quartet - let's see the interview with Will Beers

It’s not a straight interview, it’s a preview, they got some quotes from Will Biles so we’re just going to have to gather information in a good way okay, shaking a detached head on a stick, that’s really creepy uh, yeah, the story he’s telling here about a detached head on a stick is because uh, they’re shooting it in the right context because all the motion capture was done by Digital Domain so they could have because all the motion capture was done by Digital Domain so they could have high quality facial capture equipment but unfortunately Covet happened and I have to assume that’s why I’m sorry I have to assume that’s why this game is coming out in 2022 and not 2021 reason because Covid fought back yeah so he had to do it on an ipad in order to direct these scenes like the community episode so oops that wasn’t ideal I was really looking forward to the behind the scenes footage to see what the director was like I really wish they would have done a mini featurette on the challenges of making a movie like this like there were a lot of actors involved during Covid well he did eventually It did, and that’s the spiritual successor to Before Dawn, and that’s a good way to describe it, and I really like the star, and I really like the open-ended narrative of the stars, and open-ended in a weird way, and I don’t want to criticize this article too much, but it’s not open-ended.

But it’s not open-ended, it has multiple endings, it’s not the same screaming David Arquette, Arrow Winter of Modern Family, and Lynn Shay of Nightmare on Elm Street, and it’s weird to use that to describe her because she’s in Nightmare on Elm Street, because Lynn Shea is Bob Shea’s little sister, and Bob Shay runs New Line which is the company that produces Damren Elm Street, but in addition to starring in a lot of New Line movies because her brother runs New Line, she’s had a very successful career of her own, most notably playing creepy women in sinister movies, all about killers, and obviously, as he said, I won’t give it away because it’s going to be a spoiler, but there’s also a creature in there.

A creature, is it a werewolf, or a mutant? It’s some kind of person who’s been captured by the Slayer and they’ve been horribly altered into a kind of monster like what’s on that woman and she can say, I mean we’ll be able to Okay let’s see the next part of the trailer is fascinating because it thinks the popularity of streaming and the 2 billion views that people have had of Before Dawn has encouraged them to join all the modes so that you don’t have to play the game which is really interesting Because it implies that third-person exploration is optional, rather than.

. The shoulder combat is optional, QT is optional, even decision making is optional. I mean I got a sense of that from the cinematic mode, but actually, because it suggests it’s fragmented, I don’t know that it’s actually fragmented, I’d like to see more from the settings screen because yeah, you can turn qt to easy, which could be you know the one touch qt for Little Hope and House of Ashes, or maybe even the game pauses until you press the qt button in House of Ashes and Little Hope, so that might be the case, and I think it’s the same in Man and Dan because I remember when the button input doesn’t work, the game locks up, so that’s the problem in Man and Dan, I can’t recognize my input because if there’s no timer, you can’t time the qt, and if you turn off the timer, the game would lock up. But anyway, it would be interesting because it shows that you can turn off all these modes at any time, and yeah, I’m definitely interested to see how it goes, and yeah, as you said, it looks like a gangster type, and I like that, and I’m not saying that the guy doesn’t know his interactive movies, but it’s kind of weird that he goes to a place where you know, there’s a whole genre of games where there’s no decisions other than Any complaints about the gameplay, so it’s a long tradition that predates Bandersnatch, but yeah, it’s like turn off exploration but leave the decisions, so it’s not really a cinematic mode because you’re still making choices, which can be very interesting.
