Capcom has been super quiet about the news regarding the resident evil 4 remake of the villages, even on the flip side, me and the other resident evil guys have been scouring the internet for any signs of good news regarding the secret leaks of the new game and content, I believe we have found some good stuff guys, the information now contains the Ari villages dlc, the trusty leeka dust.
golem talked a lot about the censored content of Ari village, the most recent being the area of Maru, which was cut a lot for budget reasons and opted to work in the Demitresk capsule and Heisenberg’s factory, where they are actual enemies in a swampy mermaid like appearance that can swim up to you If they find you, you will have to try to get to shore as they hit you with stun attacks, even witch-.
I would love to see these new enemies reworked into the layout of the village and the concept of the game if there is a dlc, Capcom did reveal before the release of the village that they had no intention of backing it up with content after release, so any dlc would have to be made from scratch with newly written programs shoved in, which is exactly why it seems to be taking so long, but it also leads to the question that What will the village dlc be about, will it be a prequel? Exploring the lives of the family before Ethan came and sent them all to the Gulag, or possibly a follow up event involving Chris and his Bravo team, it will feature a character we haven’t seen in years, or Ethan resurrected in a cool new story, despite all the rumors and concerns, no trailer or leak could possibly tell us what the story will be , or even about Ada Wong being cut from the game, so maybe it could have something to do with her, but we can’t just push the concept of all being cut to a I would love to learn more about the family, I feel like certain members of the village don’t really get to know the characters in depth, it would be nice to really get to know them, we’ll just have to wait and see as the game’s one year anniversary is coming up in May arrives and the Summer Games Festival will take place in June, hopefully we’ll get some news now about the remake of R4, the game we know is currently being remade, Capcom has in fact earned more of a sense of spookiness, a league that has controversially spoken of the iconic village I personally don’t like the fact that most of the game takes place at night, I like the idea of daylight passing slowly and showing the village through the passage of time dark underbelly, which is a bit of a metaphor.
I totally understand that the game won’t be a complete remake, which is to be expected, the remakes we see now are all different, but they will follow the same internal narrative, and since the side characters are becoming more and more important, does this mean that Luis could possibly survive, I hate how Capcom has no faith in the characters and kills them off at every opportunity, hopefully Lewis will survive in the end , this is a twist.
I hope they start keeping some of the characters and that the remake developers will reboot because Capcom is not happy with the remake as is because it is too close to the original instead of making massive changes like the previous remakes.
Maybe “resident evil 3” and its mixed feelings scared the developers and now it’s all the meat and potatoes of the reversal, which is just a multiplayer crazy deathmatch for “resident evil” that puts all the characters from the entire series together to play against each other. This game was supposed to be released with the village but was pushed back due to a ton of bugs, it was confirmed to be released in 2022 but no news has come out since then, I personally don’t trust Capcom’s face in this game, I don’t think they plan on releasing it at all until after another major entry, it sucks that Ari vsus got the chick treatment but honestly it just looks Like a little arcade shooter where you just turn your brain off and play for an hour, when do you guys think Ari vs actually drops?
