If you’re reading this, I’m sure you’re someone who is very excited about the release of Splatoon 3. So am I, but I see a lot of people on social media talking about how Splatoon 3 won’t have a popular or exciting release now that its marketing is bad, and in this article I’m going to discuss three points that people have right now about why Splatoon 3 will fail and why it’s too early to tell, in my opinion, so get comfortable and enjoy this article to help confirm your bias.
I personally think a fair release date for the game would be July this summer, assuming that would be the release date which would mean the game would be out in about three and a half months from the time of recording this article, do you think it would be a good idea to drop in-depth information on the map weapons and single player so early I honestly think announcing all of this at this time would make them run out of things to talk about until It’s released I think maybe a month before the game is released I think it’s a good time to start announcing new features a month before the game is released, it provides enough time to attract new players and let them know what the game will include without the lack of information boring them for too long and making them move on to other games.
I think getting new modes, maps, weapon packs, customization of movement abilities would be enough to make a decent sequel rather than a deluxe version of Splatoon 2.
I’ll go back to my last point and say it’s too early to say this too because we haven’t gotten all the information about Seeing the same information on all social media can be demotivating, but I don’t think that means we don’t have new stuff, I think we just don’t know yet, and it’s hard to trust someone like Nintendo, I don’t think Splatoon is going to be the same game as Platoon 2.
I think we should keep our hopes up a little bit this argument is probably the least relevant but I still think it’s important to discuss you’ll often see people talking about how outside the community people see Splatoon as a game for kids and I say that’s not the point of the game from the beginning I mean we’re good without something like But how far can they go to make the game appealing to everyone , at the end of the day Nintendo wants this game to be for a younger audience, we can’t do much to get the big streamers and YouTubers to find interest in the game, it’s just what it is and it hasn’t stopped Splatoon 2 from being a huge game so I wouldn’t really worry about it being a pro What do I think it all comes down to? I would say that overall, the community has just overcomplicated everything and it’s fun in theory, but I don’t think we can know at this point if the game is going to be bad or if sales are going to be bad. I think we need to be a little more optimistic and just hope we get a good game soon. Anyway, thanks for reading to the end, I hope this might give you some perspective on how Splatoon 3 might not be as bad as we think, and I encourage everyone to leave comments to keep the discussion going, and I’ll be sure to respond to your points.
