This disgusting guy is the lord of House Moreau and is identified as Salvatore Moreau. The new character art shown gives us a better look at the mermaid-inspired villain.
Resident Evil Village’s art director said they designed Moreau to create the most repulsive creature on the planet, as you can see by the teeth on his face, the folds of the barnacles on his body. He has a hunchback, and hidden under that coat is probably the tail of some kind of mermaid. He has webbed hands and some of the most disgusting feet.
We already know from the Collector’s Edition map that Moreau has a reservoir, and Capcom has just given us a new screenshot showing us the area. It looks like an abandoned fishing village with a windmill.
There’s going to be a water section where you’re in the boat, looking back at the art, you can see webbed hands and other things, and he just looks like a fish that’s able to swim in the water. So maybe he’ll turn into this giant sea creature, perhaps this is one of his minions.
