In this new update they have added a lot of things, you can now unlock weapon attachments in the safe room, which means you can always remove attachments from weapons for the rest of the game, and they have now added a supply point benefit for quick play. They’ve now added an extra life value to Nightmare difficulty, which means everyone can go down without dying immediately, they’ve removed timed objectives and reduced the number of alarm doors on each map, and they’ve removed time objectives. More importantly, Abe has been nerfed and now gives you 20 healing instead of giving you 25 temporary health, meaning that if you have a lot of trauma damage, Abe isn’t as good for you.
Bomb Squad got a reshape and is now a team effect card that adds 25 team blast damage, 20 blast resistance and one grenade spawn per map, which means if one person uses this card it’s not as good as the old Bomb Squad, but if everyone does it will be a good card that now only gives you 10 damage resistance instead of 20. you can tell by the changes to these cards that they really don’t want you to summon horde like you used to. Before this update, it was almost advantageous to your team to summon horde if you had amps and horde on your marker, now the sharp bit is 20 damage resistance instead of 10, which is amazing.
Overall, doc got nerfed in the extra life change and mom got a reshape, she no longer gives extra life to her team, instead she gives 100 revive speed and 20 team health decay passive, her fast revive was also removed, I don’t know if this is a nerf or a boost, I think overall it’s a good change because while she gives everyone extra life when mom is a must-have option, plus by removing the ability to quickly respawn, this will solve the zombie mom problem, which means she will actually allow you to respawn. They have gone ahead and changed the prices of some things in the store, now team stamina costs 1000 instead of 1500 and team health is lowered to 1000. they made the upgraded grenades less helpful for grain damage like they used to be and raised the price of grenades, raised the price of barbed wire but also made it more reusable.
They also nerfed pain pills, making them give you less temporary health and cost more. They’ve increased the cooldown on roaming stunts, which is a good change overall and means you won’t encounter these random stunts that spawn behind you as often. This is a good update, I hate being burnt ridden and I think most people do too, Rekers are now easier to trip over, their base health is down and the monster singer’s attack speed has been reduced, thank god I hate assassins and I hate volatile ridden, their heads will explode and won’t trigger anymore.
