The reason this is important is because for months we’ve been hearing that a remake of resident evil4 and the Alive Village DLC will be announced this year, and what better time to announce it than E3? That doesn’t mean we still won’t get any news related to resident evil in the summer Developers can do their own showcasing, which I think Capcom will eventually do, and this tweet from the resident evil hub honestly sums up all her thoughts I’m waiting for the next resident evil announcement as much as I’m standing there But moving on, so I wanted to clarify Well, in the past I’ve said that resident evil games are always on sale, and now that may or may not mean anything at all, I looked at the official resident evil Twitter feed and Capcom’s Twitter feed.
I looked at the official resident evil twitter feed and Capcom’s twitter feed, it could just be a huge coincidence but I doubt it, but I noticed that they really want to push this “hey guys, resident evil games are on sale” out there.
Hey guys, our resident evil game is on sale Hey guys, our resident evil game is on sale To put it mildly, they’re trumpeting this on their official account Yes, there’s a spring sale going on right now, but even before that spring sale, Capcom had been tweeting about their resident evil games were on sale, they don’t do that with other franchises, now that’s important because people will think that doesn’t mean anything resident evil games are always on sale, the reason I bring this up is because I believe we’re going to get something soon, you have to understand that a lot of people like to take their time playing resident evil games, now look I’m not a marketer but I have some marketing knowledge and it makes sense that they want to get their games out there and they want more people to buy their games especially when there’s a lot of competition, right? Especially when there’s a lot of competition, I mean, Ring of Eden just came out, Star Wars just came out, all these big games came out, and Capcom wanted to discount the resident evil franchise so that new players could buy these games in time to play them, and then when they were done playing them, guess what, we’d get a new resident evil game.
I know this doesn’t confirm anything, but seriously I think when we put our thinking caps on it makes sense because they really don’t I think they do this for a reason, especially lately, their tweets have gotten really spammy and I’m sorry, but this is just too much of a coincidence for me. I think they’re doing it for a reason because I think they’re getting ready to give us something sometime this year and it makes sense to try to attract as many fans as possible because the resident evil 4 remake is going to be the biggest resident evil remake we’ve gotten so far and we have the village DLC that I’ll talk about in a later article and we’re also going to get next generation upgrades, but yes, resident evil 2, 3 and 7 will all get next generation upgrades and that includes uh PC users as well and it’s completely free, they say those who currently own these games on PS4 and Xbox One will be eligible for digital upgrades at no extra cost, long story short I don’t want to say too much because it’s pretty self explanatory as we talk about resident evil 4 remake, I want to cover something very important, so there are a lot of big games coming out this year, and I mean a lot of big games, the new Path of the Saints reboot comes out in August, Gotham Knights comes out in October, Starfield comes out in November, Hello Neighbor 2 comes out in December, and Stalker 2 is a similar post-apocalyptic game. I believe a remake of resident evil 4 will be announced this year, more specifically I think it will be announced at the end of the year and let me explain why. If you’ve been following my messages, you know that I’ve been saying that I think we’ll get something sometime in the summer, and I’m not going to change my answer, I believe we’ll get something sometime this summer.
