My name is rapidcrafter and guess what, I’m not excited about this new Netflix series so what I’m going to do today is tell you three things I’m excited about and four things I’m not excited about, what this new series is about, why we should care and why we should be excited and I’m going to answer all of those questions in today’s post. resident evil has a history of not giving us the best movies or TV shows, Infinite Darkness is a Paul Anderson movie, welcome to Raccoon City, but the three animated movies are pretty good, and I really like resident evil. I really liked Degeneration and Damnation, and Revenge was cool, but a little over the top, so the first thing I’m excited about with this new series is that it’s going to be live action, and we haven’t gotten much live action yet. I really hope they do some justice in this new series.
I want this show to be adventurous because if you want to do something different, go for it, you’ll find it’s a completely different kind of RESIDENT EVIL. because if you’re going to do something different, go all out and you know give our fans something brand new, something we’ve never seen before, and the last thing that I’m excited about is that it’s going to be about Albert Wesker, this show is supposedly about Wesker and his kids, apparently this show takes place in the far future where most of the world has been covered by a new virus outbreak, which sounds kind of cool, I really hope it’s as cool as it sounds, but now we need to get to the most important part and the part I’m most excited about, the four things I’m not excited about , first of all, this show is going to be unlike anything we’ve seen before, but the problem is that if they take too many risks and this show ends up this show has nothing to do with resident evil, if they turn this show into something like weird or something completely random, I’m going to sit there and think that it’s not resident evil, and the second thing is They could have ruined Albert Wesker’s character.
That’s one of the people I look up to the most and that’s the Albert Wesker to me, the real Albert Wesker, and I’m kind of afraid that they’re going to tamper with his character, and I think the actor will do a great job with that character, but I’m afraid they’re going to write them off and the third thing, probably the most obvious one, that I don’t think we’re all looking forward to, is that other than the animated movie, it’s bad cgi. besides the animated movies, i think the live action stuff never gets good cgi.
the paul anderson movies don’t have the greatest cgi, welcome to raccoon city doesn’t have the greatest cgi, so if a movie, if the higher budget movies don’t get good cgi, there’s no question that the series is not going to have good cgi. the last thing that i’m really not looking forward to, and i think all of you can agree with me that this new canon, this new series or new universe that they’re trying to build this new lore in, is really going to upset the fans, why do I say that? Because for those of you who have seen the last movie in the animated trilogy, which is resident evil vendetta, resident evil vendetta did a thing where they basically said, oh hey guys, we have a cure that turns zombies back into people and I’m scared that this new Netflix series I’m scared that this new Netflix series is going to do something crazy like this, but the thing is, if this new series isn’t canon, which I’m pretty sure it isn’t, but if it is, please let me know, but I’m pretty sure this new series on Netflix isn’t canon, and if something isn’t canon, go all out and just let your creativity overwhelm you and do something crazy and end the series and blow up the planet, or get everyone on the planet killed, or something crazy like that, and I know how RESIDENT EVIL fans are, they may disagree.
But what’s the point if the series isn’t canon, just go all out and do something different for once, I’m tired of watching the same thing over and over again, Paul Anderson’s movie tries to bring us LION KENNEDY, a live one. Yes, for those wondering, I plan to watch the entire series when it comes out and I plan to do a full in-depth review, but what are your thoughts on this new Netflix series?
