The second episode of the weird and true podcast begins, so let’s see if there are any clues in there. First, we have more great comedy from Grace and Anton, and I’d like to know what she thinks the dramatic opening refers to in order to justify such a shocked reaction. In this episode, Grace is acting very inappropriately online, which is fine; they take something relatively innocuous, try to get information from a witness to a possible crime, have her describe it, and act in such an unnecessarily creepy way that Grace is just adorably wrong. Interesting information from the follow-up story We learn that he was the only one who saw the body, not all the kids, which matches Laura’s experience in the prologue when she saw the ghostly figure that Max didn’t see, even though he was right there.
It’s looking more and more like the figure of the vanishing woman that the kid was talking about, and he mentioned that his girlfriend was going to summer camp at that place that summer, assuming she was his age, and I’m asking if 15-year-olds go to summer camp. I think I went once when I was six, and even then it was just a summer camp, which was weird for me, but maybe that’s a totally normal thing in New York State.
The script for Bigfoot, and the way he delivers those lines with as little effort as possible, and the interactions with Anton during the run, about how Grace is passionate about Bigfoot, it’s the best comedy I’ve heard on the podcast. I love the little note that says “Lonely Lake Monster”, which I hadn’t heard of, but it’s apparently a German water spirit that attacks on Thursdays.
The new theory of Bigfoot burying the body doesn’t fit with the known facts of the case Bigfoot picks up Maddy and leaves Max, for which the famous Bigfoot is famous I’m looking forward to seeing what happens when they investigate a possible disappearance The next episode is titled “Missing Presumed Dead” which suggests that Grace has found some possible candidates to identify the dead woman and next episode we’ll hear about the destroyed of the carnival? The face shot, no silhouette article yet, but still interesting His aftermath is that he’s covered in blood, but they used a black and white filter so it doesn’t look very scary, it’s two articles in a row that they did, and then we have the monster shot, Ryan The most interesting thing is that we get to see Ryan’s desktop, including his correspondence with Chris Hackett (David Arquette’s character) in correspondence with each other. The weird but true podcast is playing and he seems to be sending Chris an email about the podcast, although I may have misread the title of the email because it’s so small and vague and the subject line seems to say damn the podcast, implying that Chris doesn’t like rumors of murder and mayhem.
This is actually an understandable position even if he is not a werewolf trying to hide his nature, I can’t make out any of the other words but if you can, please let me know in the comments, I think the third email is from someone named Bill, the fourth email has a name I can’t make out but the subject line is please confirm, unfortunately there is no text to direct me to a Kayla style site, and finally I would like to briefly touch on something strange I noticed in the preface but forgot to mention in my analysis of the article. When Max is dragged down the stairs, nothing catches him and we can clearly see the stairs beneath Max’s feet; if a monster was there to catch him, we would be able to see it, but there is none. We heard a strange roar and suddenly he was pulled away. There is no rope on his feet or anything, nothing grabbing him, which should be impossible, but it appears, so is this a mistake, is the monster invisible, or are they deliberately cheating to hide what it looks like? I don’t intend to do these updates every day, but the speed of this promotional material really kind of forces my hand and there are worse things happening than a constant influx of new super game information and content, I’ve been a master of hidden objects, thank you for reading and please remember to like and follow if you haven’t already, special thanks to my patrons Desire Eduardo Brian and Joanne, you can always find me on my live stream, every week at 9pm Eastern.
