A well-known Resident Evil tipster, AestheticGamer1, tweeted that Resident Evil 2, Resident Evil 3, Resident Evil 8, Resident Evil Rage, Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil 9 are in development at the same time.
He added in a follow-up discussion that Resident Evil 9 will be announced no earlier than 2024. So there is no point in discussing it for the time being, and subsequent development may turn out differently

Yes,but don’t expect them to come any time soon. From what I’ve seen, it(Bioshock 9)won’t be announced before 2024. At this point in time, it’s not even worth discussing that anything could happen during development, even a whole project reboot(which has happened many times in the series).
