Welcome back to another episode, this one is Rob and I are going to review all of the resident evil games, all of them not exactly, we’re going to review and look at the resident evil 1 through 8 codes Veronica and 0, we’re going to rank them from 10 to 10 is the worst, 1 is the best, Rob has his list, I have mine, we’re going to Look through them, and I just want to say we’re not going to put these guys in here, uh, we like it, but not what we’re going to do today.
I just want to say we’re not going to put these guys on here, uh, we like the apocalypse, but that’s not what we’re going to do today.
There’s been a lot of remakes and new additions over the years, great, like the Gamecube remake, which was great including the resident evil1 remake, which was incredible, and then we have those remakes as well.
What are your favorites? What’s your favorite resident evil game? Please tell us, now let’s get started, I’m happy to do this, I’m going to ask you guys, Rob, I have my little list, I have mine on my little external storage device, right, so what I’m going to say is, what do you guys think is the worst game in the resident evil series? No, I’ll also say up front, that’s our opinion.
Oh, of course, we’re not saying that’s all, and we definitely understand if you disagree with us Yes, everyone has their own reasons for liking and disliking it Yes, we love the series, so it’s not hate, it’s not hate, it’s just how we feel, how we feel, the games we like and the games we don’t like My least favorite is resident evil6.
resident evil I have to say my number 10 is also resident evil We got together a few weeks ago to play this game and we’ve been avoiding playing this game and we know everything about it but we thought I don’t want to play it, I don’t want to play it because I think it’s so badly reviewed and I don’t want to spoil I don’t want to spoil the series because I love this series yeah but let’s sit down it’s really the lowest point of the resident evil series and that’s saying something because there are a few other games that are pretty low for me but this game is the lowest and the thing that sucks about this game is that it’s not like you’re really exploring you just you can only go one direction you can only go one direction and sometimes you don’t feel like you’re playing the The game, it makes you lose control and the acting is terrible, the acting in every RESIDENT EVIL game is terrible, in this game it’s almost excruciating, I don’t even care, I don’t care about the story or anything, I chalk it up to direction and writing. Yeah, sure, because the actors, they’re actors, they can only work with what they’re given, and I think they did the best they could, but, my God, what did you guys think of RESIDENT EVIL 6? I mean, a lot of people are warning us, a lot of people are saying, hey, it’s not that bad. The game feels like it’s on rails, yeah, there’s a lot of quick events scattered around a lot of places and it doesn’t, you don’t feel like you have to go exploring and trying to build up resources to survive you just feel like you’re very run and gun yeah, very kind of, you know oh, that’s you know, it’s a short process where you have to go through all these long corridors because they’re right there yeah and then another bunch of shooting and then another bunch of long holes it doesn’t feel like a game, it feels like a movie that you interact with and you you you basically said all the reasons why we like resident evil yeah it’s horror and this game feels as boring as an action movie and doesn’t give you any sense of oh my god I have to manage my resources and I’m scared and I It was weird, like there wasn’t a way to shoot, I mean, it just threw you in and you didn’t have any real understanding of why you were there for what, how did you get there? I feel like I don’t care about these characters and their goals anymore and in their other work I’ve always been sympathetic to their feelings My next one, this is my ninth one and I can’t wait to see your ninth one, unfortunately my ninth one is RESIDENT EVIL ZERO and I don’t like this game and I’ll explain my reasons for that because it’s on Launched on Gamecube, I want to say one thing, I will make some good points, the graphics are really good, beautiful and yes, the fantastic story is interesting and the characters are interesting. The funny thing is we have the tattoo guy, you know he’s funny, Billy in prison is funny, but what I hate is switching characters in this game, this game was supposed to launch on the N64, they had them and then they were like oh you know what, I think we could have switched characters faster with the memory of the N64 and all that stuff, but ca
