Dimitrescu’s crest is a flower with two swords, a symbol of feminine power. You can also see a cross in the middle, which is associated with vampires.
The Beneviento crest is a moon and sun, symbols of fantasy and reality, as well as the dark of Donna and the bright white of Angie.
Moreau’s is a mermaid, although we wanted to create a very stark different between the beautiful fish-lady and the creepy fish-man creature.
Heisenberg’s crest is a horse and horseshoe, implying he’s a strong, sturdy man. The horse was also based on the chess piece.
Initial designs had each crest with their own book.
In the center of the four crests is a symbol of crow feathers that looks a lot like an umbrella.
