You will slow yourself down by cutscene, pausing the game to see if your current cutscene is skippable. Unlocking Chris’s Dragoon and unlock Infinite ammo cheat after your first playthrough. Unlike other weapons, it doesn’t require any upgrades to unlock its Infinite ammo. It’s very cheap to buy it from Duke, and with it you don’t have to worry about ammo pickup, and it lets you break crates faster because you don’t need to melee them. And of course it melts the enemy’s face, don’t worry, there is no penalty for using cheats in Resident Evil Village and you will still be able to collect all the trophies and achievements. You earn these cheats so now use them.
The dragoon is awesome but the real face melter is a fully upgraded S.T.A.K.E but it is very expensive. If you want to farm the game over and over again and don’t feel the need for a fully upgraded S.T.A.K.E, then you have to buy both attachments and unlock all the upgrades from the merchant to be able to buy it for the Infinite ammo cheat. Then re-save on a different slot, enter the bonus, buy the Infinite ammo cheat, and then reload your first save and still have all your money.
There are two combination locks, and when you go to the house with the red chimney, remembering the first code will keep you from having to look out the window, and remembering the second code in Donna’s dollhouse will do the trick. You don’t need to pull the ring off of Mia’s doll or wash it off, which saves a lot of time. There are two statue puzzles in Castle Dimitrescu. The first puzzle is near Lady D’s room and only requires turning each statue once, except the knight. It is much faster to remember the location of each mask than to read the inscription.
There are also smaller simple puzzles with simple solutions, and you’d better try to remember them, because solving them is very easy. This is just a bonus episode, just skip it and that broken crank will be gone when you come back with a working crank.
Normally, you’d take some path, but you can actually snipe it from the windmill before the chase process starts, or you can hide after you break the second part, where you can vaguely see the first part and shoot it.
Another skip is to quickly pass that super slow big baby, the first chase doesn’t really skip, just wait for it to enter the room where Mia’s doll is, then run past it, don’t go around the house, use a crawl space here, the baby will appear in the hallway and it will block you.
The second chase has a few quick tips, first don’t hide in the closet of a room with a bed, but hide under the bed so you can run past the baby as it crawls past you, or, and this may take a little practice, Stand in the kitchen doorway and wait for the baby to lunge at you, get out of the way so that you make the baby do a weird 90 degree turn, push him against the wall, and once he does, run right past him, which seems scary, but this move requires some precise timing. So if the baby doesn’t lunge, you revert to hiding under the bed, which is better than getting eaten.
Finally, when you try to cross over a lot lycans or a big lycan, have half of your flashbangs and pipe bombs ready, we’re not here to hit everything, so if you can run over an enemy, we recommend you do so.
