The first possibility is that the creatures in the game are werewolves. In the trailer, especially at the beginning of the trailer, David Arquette’s character says he wants the kids to be safe outside before the sun goes down. He is very worried about them staying another night and tells the kids to lock their doors and not go out,so he is very worried about the night. He doesn’t want the children to go out and he doesn’t want anyone to come in, so you can be sure that this creature has something to do with the night. Werewolves usually act at night if the camp takes place before there is a full moon, which explains why his character is so afraid.
Another thing that supports the fact that the creature in the game is a werewolf is the fact that hunting and bears are mentioned in the trailer. There was a time when people, mistook wolves or werewolves for bears and everyone blamed bears for what happened. It was about a woman whose body was found in the woods and some people thought that a bear might have attacked and eaten her body. Speaking of feet, the creature also seems to stand on both feet a lot, as do werewolves. We have a shot of the creature standing up slightly, and only a small shot of what could be a werewolf standing on four feet. There is also a growling sound in the trailer, so we know the creature is growling. It sounds like a bear, an animal, obviously not human, and it can run quite fast. Werewolves are usually very fast creatures, and the setting is in the woods, which is very wild, like why wouldn’t you think there are werewolves involved? This is the woods of the camp, the full moon. I think those are also very good settings for werewolves.
One little thing I wanted to mention is that we do see a lot of weapons in the game, and the sheriff’s staff seems to use a lot of them, and werewolves can be killed by silver bullets. So maybe there are silver bullets in those weapons. I believe the werewolves are the monsters in the game and the trailer does support that.
Another possibility is that these creatures are vampires, and vampires typically only show up at night. we saw this creature jump from the second floor alive to the floor, the trailer in which it could be a vampire, it could fly down, it could jump down, but werewolves can do that too.
Based on the evidence in the trailer, it seems that the creatures in the game are either werewolves or vampires. Werewolves are the most likely option because of the reasons mentioned, such as the character‘s fear of the night, the mention of hunting and bears, and the creature‘s fast running and growling. However, vampires could also be involved, as they typically only show up at night.
