Pokémon Sun and Moon Interactive Map: Wild Pokémon, Trainers and Items in Alola

Interactive map of Alola

The map is rebuilt from the game's own terrain, and its Trainer and item markers use the game's own coordinates. Each island has its main 3D map; caves, buildings and some outdoor areas are separate scenes in the game and open as their own 3D maps from the place’s panel (“View inside”). A place name sits at the middle of the place, or at the entrance of a cave or building. Search for a Pokémon, item, Trainer or place, or tap a place name. Wild Pokémon and special encounters follow the Sun/Moon switch at the top of the page. Day and night are in-game times; Pokémon Moon runs 12 hours off your system clock.

What it covers: wild Pokémon with their rates by day and night, the allies they can call in SOS battles (also in rain, hail or a sandstorm), special encounters such as totems, Island Scan Pokémon and Ultra Beasts with how each one is triggered, Trainers, and items lying on the ground. Trainers marked “no fixed spot” are battles the game starts from a script, such as rivals, captains and Team Skull: their place comes from the game’s script tables where those could be read, otherwise from Serebii’s Sun and Moon trainer lists matched by exact team. It leaves out gifts from people, shop stock and battle rewards.
